Truly loving God first means that our love for God trumps all our own desires, like Jesus modeled for us, even "to the point of death— even death on a cross. Even though these three subjects of faith, obedience, and love are examined separately, in reality we can see that these subjects intertwine in scripture.
Authors that discuss love also discuss its connection to obedience and faith, while authors that discuss faith also discuss the connection between obedience and love. Many of the scriptures quoted can be used to show that our actions reveal the truth about all three subjects: what we believe, who we serve, and who we love.

What the hell have I got myself into? Not only is the production stellar and the design and packaging clean, sleek and gorgeous, but the songs themselves are of serious quality and complexity and still make you want to break shit and go crazy. Amazingly though, it never falls apart, as you expect it to around every corner in crystal-clear production such as this, where you can hear every nuance.
Rather, each song is held tightly together by the toughest backbone of rhythm sections, Ryan Walker on bass and Justin Ogilvie on drums, who remain in almost super-human control as these songs race into oblivion, yet never collapse in on themselves.
The instrumentation mixes a blend of Youth Crew-era hardcore and its ultra-high-energy chord progressions minus the gang chants , with some more modern touches of groove and riff-oriented song structure. I have a Platinum CT6 and it is a beautiful car, but could had been better. The interior should had been better, the rear backup lights still use halogen bulbs! Al Castro wrote on January 2, - pm Permalink. Thanks Glenn. The CT6 is a great car.
But it now pains me to hear that your Cadillac is yet another one with the cheap plasticky interiors. What is with these people? DeanMcManis wrote on January 1, - pm Permalink. Happy New Year Al! It is good to see a new article here from you. Regarding the Cadillac Blackwing engine, Cadillac had said at the beginning that it would not be shared with other brands, and it was only slated for a swan song in the CT6.
GM in general and Cadillac specifically have a bad habit historically killing off their cars exactly when they get the bugs worked out and they become competitive. Misplaced pride is Cadillac's enemy. They took pride in having an engine exclusive the Cadillac, but then blundered in not making it work across their entire model line-up. At least Dodge got that right with the Hellcat engine.
They made it colossal and set it as a beacon for power hungry hot rodders to drool over. And then they put it in several different models, and will be adding it to more, making each one a flagship. Regarding Cadillac and electrification, their measured approach makes sense, but it's a poor plan. They are reacting to Tesla, who successfully took a big bite out of the performance, luxury market with the Model S and X, and then has extended that with ever greater success providing the more affordable Model S and soon Model Y.
But the key difference between Cadillac and Tesla is that Cadillac and GM is conflicted with electric vehicles. They make ALL of their profits off of fossil fueled vehicles, and one of the highest profit models is the Cadillac Escalade, which has required very little new investment to freshen it up and keep it profitable. Tesla has no other interests or masters to serve outside of building the best BEV models that they can.
Their approach is to engineer their electric drivetrain to be around 2 years ahead of their competition, with efficiency and performance that all others have to catch up to. Cadillac on the other hand dropped all of their electrified models, saying that they were moving ahead to compete with Tesla, but since then we have seen NO BEV products at all since those boastful announcements. And unfortunately our government has been busy dismantling to EPA plans to improve gas mileage and produce cleaner air in automobiles which gives them license to delay further.
One important historical point here is that years ago GM did not kill the electric car alone in the 90s. So that brings us back to Cadillac today. They have promised to be a leader in BEVs, yet they have no actual models to compare and compete. They made a vague commitment to BEVs years ago, and now they are dragging their feet in formally showing off anything powered by electricity. Cadillac is in a tough position. They can continue to delay their BEV models and keep concentrating on their profitable gas powered models, in the same way that Chrysler has done for many years with mixed results , or they can actually reveal their BEV models ASAP, and explain to stockholders that the best long term investment requires sacrificing short term profits to succeed in the long run.
Oh, I was expecting to hear from you! Hope this is working out for you. As I search for another maker that has the passion to build electric cars to greatness, I do know inasmuch that you have the passion to write about the automobile! Thanks Dean! Rolls Royce did not have a V6 engine after WW!!. It was an excellent inline six with an interesting valve layout. I mostly agree with the article. After having owned three of the giant era Cadillacs with and cubic inch V8's, we now drive a V8 Mercedes. Cadillac does have the excellent new 10 speed automatic. Still, I see no GM car in my future. I am sad for Cadillac and its bungling leadership. Al Castro wrote on January 7, - pm Permalink.
